Ihsan Global Relief is organising a sponsored trek up Mount Ben Nevis, Fort William, Scotland on Saturday 24th August to Monday 26th August 2024 in aid of some of the poorest and homeless people of Pakistan.
THE FLOODS IN 2022
The floods in 2022 were the worst in the country’s history with over 2,000 deaths, and 12 million homes destroyed leaving tens of millions of people displaced. With your help, IGR has already built around 30 houses for families living in temporary shelters and tents in the District of Layyah (Village No.427), Punjab. We now have a target to build a further 70 homes and hand pumps in the region. Please join us for this trek and retreat to raise further funds.
The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) has stated:
Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfil his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection.(Bukhari Hadith No. 2442)
