Since July, Pakistan has been facing severe weather conditions due to unprecedented monsoon rains which have flooded over one fifth of the entire country. That’s an area almost the size of Britain.

The flooding is the worst the country has ever faced affecting over 30 million people. With over 2000 deaths and the destruction of 12 million homes and 2.2 million hectares of crops and livestock the situation is severe and worsening. Many tens of thousands have been displaced and have no means of food, water, sanitation or medical help.

Pakistan is facing a humanitarian disaster of epic proportions.
